It’s that time again. Let’s take a look at this Nixon Men’s Watch.
This is another out of my personal collection. I haven’t worn this one in a while but thought it would be fun to break out and take a look.
This watch from Nixon is called The Quatro. I like the look of this watch. The face is a very basic square with a silver checkerboard look. I have seen these watches with different colors including this one on Nixon’s website. https://www.nixon.com/us/en/quatro/A013.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwq57cBRBYEiwAdpx0vRAgL3pVDKf5I1yagmHylUPI_iu-lTv6l1b_CDEhg70sxScG1lnnaRoC9gcQAvD_BwE
This one is going to take a little work to be an every day wearer for me. I tried it on and well I think my wrist got fatter (Is that a thing?). It is going in my project pile and I hope to get this one back in the rotation.
A little bit about Nixon. It was started in the late 1990’s not too far from me in Encinitas, California. It gained huge popularity in the youth market, particularly the surfing, skating and snowboard communities.
Nixon was sold to Billabong in 2006, but has since become an independent brand again. Which (no offense to Billabong) is pretty cool. Way to go guys!
I found this watch used for about fifty dollars online. New Nixon watches run in a range of 100-200 give or take. Some watch snobs I’m sure aren’t fans, but I think Nixon is making some really cool watches. Remember you can always give a used one a try to see if a new model might be the watch for you.
Thanks for taking the time to check us out. Have a great evening and remember to make every day a watch day!
