Welcome back. I took a day off to celebrate Labor day so sorry if you were missing your watch fix for the day. And by celebrating labor day, I mean I organized and looked at watches for future features. On a side note future features are fun words to say together.
Have no fear I am back with this beauty of watch. Made by Citizen, this quartz watch is stylish and frankly beautiful. The black and gold really make it pop. I again enlisted my better half to help pick out a watch for a post and she immediately took to this watch.
I think she is eyeing this one to add to her (extensive) collection. She gets her pick most of the time, so this one might be on her wrist by the time I finish writing this.
I can totally understand. In a sea of watches this one stands out. I love that it is mostly black with gold accents. Too much gold and I may think something different about this watch, but I think the design is perfect.
Let’s talk a little about Citizen watches. They are celebrating 100 years this year, so they got their start in 1918. They released their first commercial pocket watch in 1924. They are one of the more popular watch brands out there and are continuing to go strong.
A recent partnership with Disney certainly isn’t going to hurt things. They will be the official timepiece of Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
I window shopped the Citizen website to get a feel for the prices on new models. They certainly run the gamut. A lot of watches were in the 175-395 dollar range. One option sells for as much as 1850 dollars. So if this watch puts you in the mood for a brand new Citizen, check out their website here.
Thanks for visiting and we will see you next time!
