First off, let me apologize for not posting anything in a few days. Have been set back by a nasty cold that has kept me from doing my due diligence with the site. I’m feeling about 75% right now so I’m back at it.
Today I’m looking at this Vintage Women’s Watch. This watch was made by the Croton Watch Company. Croton was established all the way back in 1878, so we are marking their 140th year of existence. That’s pretty wild if you think about it.
This watch has a 17 Jewel Mechanical movement. If I had to guess, I would say this watch is from the 60’s or 70’s, but I could be mistaken. This watch features a 10K rolled gold plate bezel and some nice ornate details.
I think this watch would still wear well to this day. Maybe not an everyday watch, but one to break out on the right occasion. Like I said the little touches make this watch stand out in a crowd.
You can find a lot of these old Croton Watches on E-Bay. Some of the fancier models are selling in the 150 dollar range, while one like this will not set you back quite as much.
It’s good to be back. I’m excited about some new stuff I have to (hopefully) enhance the website for my loyal readers. As you can maybe see from the pictures, I bought some new watch stands which I really like. Think I’m gonna get some good shots with these!
Tune in again soon, because I don’t plan on taking that many days off again anytime soon!
